    Shin-Etsu Polymer Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) believes that the timely and appropriate disclosure of corporate information to shareholders and investors ensures better understanding of the Company and an appropriate evaluation by the market. We strive for the timely, fair, honest and understandable disclosure of information in accordance with the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act, the Tokyo Stock Exchange’s Securities Listing Regulations and other relevant laws and regulations.

    Information subject to the Securities Listing Regulations will be registered with the Tokyo Stock Exchange via the Timely Disclosure network (TDnet) and promptly posted on our website. In addition, we will also disclose on our website other useful information that facilitates a better understanding of the Company.

These are based on our own judgment and assumptions in light of the information available at the time of publication and may involve potential risks and uncertain factors regarding economic conditions, market trends, exchanges rate fluctuations and so forth.   4. Quiet period
    In order to prevent account settlement information from leaking and to ensure fairness, we have established a quiet period of approximately one month before the announcement of results, in which we refrain from answering questions about account settlement and earnings forecasts. However, if facts that are subject to disclosure under the Securities Listing Regulations arise, even during a quiet period, we shall disclose it in a timely manner.
