The AUTOBACS Group is dedicated to developing next generation vehicles such as hybrid vehicles (HVs), plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHVs) and electric vehicles (EVs) to meet the needs of the future.

In order to care for batteries and other devices in HVs, it is required by laws to take “special training related to maintenance operations for electric vehicles, etc.”.
In order to safely maintain high voltage parts, it is necessary to use a nonconductive tools called "insulation tools". At AUTOBACS Group, we promote the introduction of these tools to all our stores.
In addition to this, “diagnostic machines” are being installed in all stores to allow workers to appropriately diagnose failure points in EVs and HVs. We provide training for group employees about HVs to ensure they learn the necessary skills to best work with these vehicles.

上記の「電気⾃動⾞等の整備業務に係る特別教育」「絶縁工具」「診断機」「ハイブリッド研修」の4つを備えた店舗を「ハイブリッドカー作業取扱店」として認定し、お客様にも認知いただけるよう、店舗の入り口付近に看板などを設置して、安心してハイブリッドカーの整備をお任せいただけることを訴求しています。2023年6月末現在378店舗が認定されています。
